Seven-day Diet Plan for Weight Loss - Day 2
A diet is an important aspect of the look of our body. Everybody likes a lean and thin body. This is impossible without a proper and systematic diet.
We need an effective diet plan for this. It is a Seven-day diet plan which can help you to get the desired results. You can take this as a Seven-day diet challenge.
If anyone asks what is the Indian alternative to the GM Diet Plan or how to change GM Diet and incorporate our diet with the Indian elements then you are at the right place.
So what are foods to eat to lose weight? Let's see,
Seven-Day Meal Plan
The food for the diet plan has to be home-cooked healthy food prepared with easily available and not so expensive ingredients.
This will be a refined sugar-free diet plan and we are not using any refined oil or processed food in this.
This plan takes care of nutritional requirements and includes morning and bedtime drinks that help to boost your metabolism.
- Eat fresh fruits for a week which are like snacks for your in-between meal of the day.
- 30 to 40 minutes of fast walking or yoga each day regularly.
- Drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated throughout the day i.e. a minimum of 8 to 10 glasses a day.
- Try to sleep by at least 10:30 pm every day.
- Stay away from sugar i.e.no sugar for the entire week.
Seven-day diet menu
Now to begin with a fast weight loss diet plan to lose 5 kg approximately in 7 days,
1] For Early Morning -
- Resume your day with Cinnamon tea which helps to burn stomach fat and helps to boost metabolism.
2] For Breakfast -
- Protein-rich Paneer spread on a slice of brown bread is the quick and easy filling option for the breakfast.
- You can take this with freshly cut slices of an apple.

7 day diet plan - Day 1
3] For Mid Morning Snack -
- You can have half or a single banana for a mid-morning snack.
4] For Lunch -
- You have to take turmeric oats as these whole oats along with fresh coconut will keep your stomach fulfilled till the next meal. These are so fulfilling, tasty, and easy lunches to make.
So this is quite an easy recipe to make as it gets done in just about ten to fifteen minutes.
Procedure :
- Add half a cup of rolled oats into a saucepan then add one and a half cups of water. Now put on the flame and add one-fourth teaspoon Himalayan salt. Mix it well.
- Add one-fourth teaspoon jeera(also known as cumin seeds). Then add half teaspoon turmeric powder, one-eighth teaspoon black pepper powder. Black pepper is necessary as it helps to absorb turmeric faster into your body. Also, add in one chopped green chili, 2 finely chopped shallots(small onions), one-fourth inch ginger.
- Allow it to boil on the lowest flame, stir it well in between. keep the cover on it(leave a gap to the cover so the steam would release out preventing the oats spilling ) and let it cook for about seven minutes.
- After seven minutes, the switch of the flame. You can see that the oats are nicely cooked and can be topped with two tablespoons of grated coconut(coconut flesh cut into smaller pieces). The coconut's healthy fats make this dish very nutritious. This recipe doesn't require any extra oil.
5] For Evening Snacks -
- You can have a handful of roasted peanuts as they have healthy fats necessary for the energy dip.
- You can have milk tea or coffee without any added sugar.
6] For Dinner -
- You should take a healthy salad which is low-carb mixed with boiled channa and sweet potato i.e Channa Salad served on a lettuce leaf (without roti or rice ).

- Heat an iron kadhai/ pan and add in 1 teaspoon(tsp) coconut oil and when the oil heats up, add in 1/4th tsp cumin seeds ( jeera ), mix it well. Add 4 cloves of chopped garlic and 1/4th inch chopped ginger and mix this. Add in half chopped onion and mix well on low flame until the onion turns light pink.
- Add in half to 1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder, half tsp turmeric powder, 1/4th tsp coriander powder, 1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder, and 1/4th tsp garam masala. Mix all this well and allow the spices to roast for a minute.
- Then add 2 chopped tomatoes, half tsp salt. Mix well by adding about 1 to 2 tsp water to help the tomatoes cook and blend well into the masala. Now cover and allow the tomatoes to get cooked for about a minute. When tomatoes are nicely cooked after about a minute, add 2 cups of boiled channa and a half cup of chopped small cubes boiled sweet potatoes as sweet potato is healthy and keep your stomach full for a longer time.
- After about a minute sprinkle 1/4th tsp black pepper powder and mix all this. Allow all this to roast for about two minutes and then switch off the heat supply. Then add about one to two tablespoons of chopped coriander leaves and some spring onions. Finally, add half red and green capsicum to it.
- Now sprinkle in 1/4 tsp chaat masala and mix well. Your salad is ready to eat. Transfer this filling chana mix to a bowl. You can sprinkle more coriander leaves and spring onion for added flavor and you can consume this by wrapping in lettuce leaves as an alternative for roti or rice.
7] For Bedtime Drink -
- You should have ginger tea which helps to boost metabolism and cleanse your body.
